Review: Creightons VPro Volume Pro Shampoo and Conditioner

We all want that glossy bouncy hair and finding products to achieve that is proving difficult! So when I got sent these little beauties I was excited to see how my hair would get volume and texture. Creigtons VPro Volume Pro shampoo and conditioner are stated to add texture with the sea salt aspect of the product, thicken and condition the hair with wheat protein which is just what my hair needs being flat and thin!

The shampoo is thick and creamy, it is white in colour and lathers up well, my hair felt soft after rinsing. The shampoo smells sweet and promises to add volume, body and bounce. My favourite part of this shampoo is the luxurious feeling of the product, it feels expensive and gives you the feeling that it will make your hair glossy and that salon feeling.

The conditioner was the product that was not my "cup of tea" the consistency was like milk that has curdled, it had a pleasant sweet smell and did feel like it coated my hair well, but after drying my hair it did not feel like it had been conditioned.
After using these products my hair felt soft and conditioned, my hair did appear to have added volume on the ends but not particularly at my roots but I do have flat hair!

Overall for 99p these are brilliant! I cant believe the price tags! The shampoo is my favourite which I would repurchase, the conditioners consistency put me off and wasn't the best conditioning experience I have had, I want my hair to be glossy and super soft after using a conditioner which I did not get.

Have you ever tried these?

Night Time Routine- Products I Use

Night time is one of my favourite times of the day, its the time to unwind relax, light some candles and lather on some must have beauty products. I love the feeling of fresh sheets on the bed, with snug pyjamas and reading a good book.

I have never been amazing at sticking to a skincare routine but have always taken my makeup off as can't stand the feeling or makeup being on whilst sleeping, I just can't relax.

First thing I will do is brush my teeth and use this NSPA Hot Cloth Polish with a hot hand towel or muslin cloth. I apply this on my face and massage it in whilst I soak the cloth in warm/hot water which I then apply to my face to help open up my pores and melt away my makeup, I adore this part of my skin care routine as it helps make me feel relaxed and with the natural oils being released I can unwind and feel like I am in a spa.

Then I will use a micellar water like this one from Boots, a 3 in 1 cleansing solution from the Botanics range which I use to remove the last traces of makeup. It barely has a scent and leaves me feeling clean and refreshed.

Next I will apply a toner, this is Kueshi, one I got in a Glossybox, it has sweet scent but when applied to the skin it isn't overpowering, the toner doesn't wow me but takes of the last traces of makeup. If anyone can recommend one then let me know as I never know much about good toner products to use.

Finally I will use my ever so loved Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream. This cream is literally a dream, a little goes a long way, it is creamy, thick and makes my skin feel bouncy and youthful. I can not live without this cream! It makes such a difference to my skin. I would highly recommend this cream, my skin looks so lovely in the morning which I have never had before! I then apply the eye cream from Superdrug, a vitamin e eyecream that doesn't tend to wow me but I didn't know which to go for so opted for the cheaper option, it has no particular scent and sinks into the skin.

Anastasia Beverley Hills Shadow Couture World Traveller Palette Review

We all want that creamy pigmented palette that has a range of colours for various looks, I know I have been trying to find one for a while and when I heard about this beauty I had to see what the hype was all about.

This palette has 12 different shades from matte to shimmer, with a range of nudes, brighter shades and metallic shimmers to create numerous different looks for both day and night. The palette comes with a handy brush, and not one of those annoying sponge brushes! The brush is of good quality with one end being soft and fluffy perfect for blending and one end for applying shadow to the lid and crease. I created a smokey eye and was not disappointed, it is stunning!! Super creamy, highly pigmented and easy to blend, such a stunning palette! I have got to say these are better then MAC eyeshadows, considering I am a huge MAC fan this is big for me to say! I hear there are many other palettes from Anastasia so am keen to try those out too as I am currently obsessed with this one. One thing that lets the palette down is the packaging, its not luxurious like I imagined it would be, but comes with a handy mirror inside, just wish the packaging felt high end and looked pretty but we can't have it all now can we.

Here is the palette.

My Current Favourite Body Moisturisers

Not that we are getting particularly hot weather but the UK is still having warm days, so for some reason I tend to moisturise more the warmer it is, why I don't know! So here are my current favourites.

Vaseline Spray and Go

Vaseline spray and go is an easy go to moisturiser, it comes in three scents one being cocoa that I am currently using but am yet to try the other two. The difference this product and others that I use is that it is a spray product, so you literally spray, rub in and go a must have for busy days! The product is easy to rub in, it has a subtle scent and keeps your body hydrated, this has to be my must have moisturiser for your collection.

Victoria Secrets Coconut Passion Moisturiser

Want to smell delicious all day? Then this is for you! A thick creamy product that leaves you smelling like a tropical island! I always get compliments when I wear this product, it is so luxurious and smells amazing! The cream isn't that hard to work into the skin considering the thick consistency, it leaves you feeling super hydrated all day and a little goes a long way.

Body Shop Papaya Body Butter

As you can see this has the old Body Shop packaging, I have a few like this that I am trying to use up so I rediscovered this gem and oh my what a gem it is! Such a gorgeous refreshing fruity scent that lingers on the skin, as always the Body Shop know how to produce a moisturiser, they always get it just right. It lasts all day and night, the scent lasts all day and the product is easy to work with.

Original Source Skin Quench Moisturiser

This moisturiser has a refreshing fragrance that isn't overpowering, it is a light formula that can at times take a while to sink into the skin but it leaves the skin feeling fresh and moisturised with natural oils. It is a great throw in your bag tube to use on the go.

So these are my current favourite body moisturiser, what are yours?

Skincare Samples....Nominoe, Laura Mercier, Liz Earle and Elemis reviews

Skincare samples, got to love them! Here are my views on the following samples sent to me via beauty boxes.

Nominoe Foaming Cleanser.

This product is my all time favourite cleanser, my skin loved this! Unfortunately I can only find this on Amazon for £17.00 for this exact 50 ml size which has made me very sad as this is a product available in france! The gentle cleanser has a pump to help you pump the foam out with ease, it has a very light gentle scent and a little goes a long way, two pumps would do my face. Apply the product to damp skin, massage in and then rinse off and you will see your makeup disappear, my skin felt so soft and appeared clear and plump. This is honestly one I would recommend to everyone! This product contains Gorse, Artichoke, Buckwheat and Broom.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish.

This ever so famous cleanser has become a name known to all. It is known for using naturally active ingredients, the cleanse and polish contains rosemary, chamomile, cocoa butter and eucalyptus essential oil. You apply this cream product to dry skin and massage gently then with hot water and a muslin cloth you wipe the product and all your makeup away, the heat is meant to open up your pores and then the muslin cloth can take out all the dirt and grime. I do love this product the fact that it uses natural ingredients is something I am becoming more interested in. The scent is like walking into a room full of essential oils, such a lovely but not strong scent. Check out QVC that do good deals on this whole range.

Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser.

This anti-ageing cleanser is from the luxury brand Elemis. This is described as a deep cleansing cream, with a scientifically proven formula. It contains Moringa seed peptide, Great Burdock, Noni and Assai fruit which are known for their anti-oxidant qualities. You apply this onto dry skin and massage in until it warms gently then leave for a minute and it is meant to dissolve your makeup. I have to say I wasn't overly impressed, it didn't warm on my skin and when I removed the product it left a slight oily residue which I wasn't keen on I prefer the feeling of fresh and clean but this made me feel like I had to wash it again.

Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Face Polish.

This was the first product I had ever tried from the highend brand Laura Mercier. This was a product I was excited to use and it certainly did not disappoint. You place a small amount, pea size was enough for me, onto the face and massage then rinse with water. The face polish exfoliated my skin so well that I saw it instantly looking brighter, it wasn't rough or harsh so my skin felt super soft after. The polish smells so lovely like peaches! I really want to repurchase this and hope to in the near future! Grab this if you can!

Have you tried these? What are your thoughts? Any recommendations for me?
