Mila Kunis Star Style

How to steal Mila Kunis' casual shopping style

It's always refreshing to catch the rich and famous taking trips to the
shops in jeans and t-shirts. Earlier this year, actress Mila Kunis was
spotted food shopping with her mum, looking every bit the Hollywood
starlet despite her dressed down look. The
Black Swan star
stepped out in a pair of tight black skinny jeans and a loose-fitting
Batman tee, completing her outfit with aviator shades and comfortable
espadrilles.
Another relaxing mother-daughter outing might be on the cards, as Mila is currently busy promoting romantic drama Third Person, which also stars Tinseltown heartthrob James Franco. Having covered casual chic,
Mila rocked red carpet glamour at the Toronto International Film Festival in a stunning white Burberry dress.
The  star's glamorous film festival look no doubt took a hard-working team
of make-up artists and stylists hours to achieve. Her laid back style,
however, is much easier to recreate from the hottest high street
collections.
Come rain or shine, Mila's skin-tight black jeans are always on-trend. The latest women's jeans styles
include a wide range of shapes and looks, from petite to high-rise, which will keep you in style all year round.

The instantly recognisable Batman logo on Mila's grey tee is easy to spot on the high street.
With the recent announcement that Argo star Ben Affleck is next in line to play the Caped Crusader, the iconic
black and yellow print will be staying put for seasons to come.
With the winter months well on their way, swap summer espadrilles and
sandals for a pair of on-trend studded boots or wedge trainers to team
with your skinny jeans. While Mila went sans-jacket in sunny California,
the cold weather needn't cramp your style: throw on an edgy biker
jacket or a casual parka to keep warm.
Whether she's charming film critics or shopping for groceries, Mila Kunis knows
how to keep up with the fash pack. Channel the actress' casual cool,
and you too can look a million dollars next time you pop out for milk. ..

Review: Maybelline Babylips in Pink Punch

Maybelline, Pink, Punch, Lip, Balm, Babylips, Review, Superdrug, WhispersfromangelsMaybelline, Pink, Punch, Lip, Balm, Babylips, Review, Superdrug, Whispersfromangels
Hello Loveys!

Todays review is on the Maybelline Babylips in Pink Punch. I had heard so much about these and was never quite sure on what the hype was all about. I was in my local Superdrug when I saw them, I had a think and thought why not lets jump on the bandwagon.

Maybelline states these offer 8hour moisture and protection, a revolutionary balm with SPF 20.

The packaging isn't amazing, its bright and eye catching, but not sure what I think of the baby lips writing on the lip balm itself. It does have a handy retractable tube, and the balm goes right in the tube unlike others, so no broken lip balm!

They have various shades and scents available, and I chose Pink Punch, a pink punch fruity scent which is quite sweet but not sickly.

I applied this on my way to work and loved the feeling, it was moisturising and made my lips soft after applying. Maybelline states it offers 8 hour protection, not sure I agree as I felt I needed to reapply after a couple of hours.

Pink Punch is a cold toned pink with a shimmer, but if you want fantastic pigmentation and bold colours then don't pick these as they aren't created to give that affect, they only give a "hint of colour". The colour didn't stay on long and I found the balm gathered on my lip, it didn't sink in particularly well to ensure my lips were intensely moisture.

Maybelline, Pink, Punch, Lip, Balm, Babylips, Review, Superdrug, WhispersfromangelsI would like to purchase another shade, as I do think are handy and for £2.99 you cant go terribly wrong. I don't think it looks up to the hype but sometimes when products are hyped so much they then aren't seen as great as the expectation is on such a high level!

Have you tried these?

Review: the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer

Review, Mary, Lou, Manizer, highlighter, Blusher, Whispersfromangels, Shimmer, Pretty, Blogger, Eyeshadow, theBalm, Balm
 Hello Loveys!

Todays review is a look at the Balm Mary-Lou Manizer, it claims it is a highlighter, eyeshadow and shimmer.

the Balm was founded by Melissa Shipman who has a philosophy that you only need some staple items to create a look, "beauty within 5 minutes". A lot of the products produced are multi use, so some are blushers and eyeshadows, and like this Mary-Lou Manizer it is a shimmer, highlighter and eyeshadow. The products are cruelty free and paraben free too.

This is available from FeelUnique.com. I fell instantly in love with the retro feel of the packaging, different to what is around on the market. The packaging is fun, unique and girley.

Review, Mary, Lou, Manizer, highlighter, Blusher, Whispersfromangels, Shimmer, Pretty, Blogger, Eyeshadow, theBalm, BalmI opened the case I swatched it straightaway, boy oh boy this is beautiful! It has great pigmentation, applies easily and highlights the skin in a subtle yet striking way. I have used this as a highlighter, eyeshadow and shimmer. It doesn't have a "tacky" shimmer where its overpowering, it is subtle. It has a slight yellow tone to it when initially applied, but then when blended I didn't find I could see that.

The compact is handy to throw in your bag, and to fit in a clutch bag, it has a mirror which is always good for applying on the go.
This can be used on your cheekbones, brow bone and in the inner corners of your eyes to open them up. I will do a look with this product so you can see what it looks like on.

Have you tried this or any other product from the Balm range?

Review: Sarah G Cosmetics!

Hello Loveys!

This particular brand has a theory that states "makeup is ageless and one fits all" Sarah G Cosmetics is manufactured in the USA using "sophisticated scientific and pharmaceutical technology" which are not tested on animals.

I was lucky to be sent the following products.

Crème to Powder Foundation in Coffee-N-Cream.

This crème to powder comes with a handy mirror and sponge, it was a little too light for me, but felt soft and lovely on the skin. I personally love medium-heavy coverage and felt this was quite a natural light finish. It isn't greasy and sat on the skin nicely. Definitely a great product for those who want a natural light finish.

Eyeshadow in the shade 235 Organza.

This shadow is a pretty peach colour, perfect for spring/summer which would look great with a tan. The shadow is well pigmented , it applies softly to the lid and is a matte finish. I would be interested in trying more shades within this range as it looks so good! See swatches below and a picture of the shadow on my lids.

Lipstick in the shade Deja Vu 29.

The lipstick is a gorgeous peach pink with a metallic sheen to it. I love this shade and think it would look so good in spring/summer. It is a soft moisturising lipstick which applies easily to the lip and doesn't gather like some lipsticks can. It did last well, I applied three times in one day after eating and drinking. The lipstick isn't drying and would suit many skin tones.

Pixie Blusher in 803 Crushed Velvet.

This blusher is a pastel mauve. I wasn't sure on the colour when I received this as I normally go for stronger shades. I was worried this would look odd on my olive skin, but it is absolutely gorgeous! I think this is my favourite product, it is a gorgeous frosty finish which slight shimmer without making me look ridiculous! It is pigmented and a handy product for your handbag which I would use as a blush and a highlighter. I would recommend this product!

Here I am wearing the products minus the foundation as it was too light for me.

Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo! Swatches!

Maybelline, Color, Tattoo, Rose, Gold, Pink, Bronze, Eyes, Eyeshadow, Review, Blog, Beautiful, Metallic, Autumn, WinterHello Loveys!!

Todays review and swatches are on the Maybelline Color Tattoos! I had heard so much about these and when I saw these in the flesh I couldn't resist!! They are beautiful!

I purchased On and On Bronze and Metallic Pomegranate. I heard so much about these so when I saw them on offer in Superdrug for buy one get one half price I felt it was time to have a go myself!

Maybelline, Color, Tattoo, Rose, Gold, Pink, Bronze, Eyes, Eyeshadow, swatches, Review, Blog, Beautiful, Metallic, Autumn, WinterFirst one I used was the On and On Bronze shade, a gorgeous metallic gold/bronze. The consistency is smooth and creamy. The shadow applies easily and has great pigmentation, it truly was beautiful! I applied this with my fingers and was amazed at the quality, I tend to find creamy eyeshadows crease easily with my old wrinkly eyelids! But these definitely did not make me feel like I had old eyelids, they made my eyelids stand out, with a stunning shade of bronze. I then applied a shadow on my crease line and to the ends of my eyelid. The effect was gorgeous, the next test was going to be how long would it last! I worked that day, was up early and had a lot on! By the end of the day I had forgotten that I applied this and was pleasantly surprised that the product was still on, not only was it still on but it kept my shadow in place. I was super impressed!

The next shade I tried was the Metallic Pomegranate, seen here on the left. This shade reminded me of the MAC Cranberry eyeshadow, it had a cranberry tone with a metallic shade, truly beautiful! As above this was used under an eyeshadow, it glistened through and lasted all day without creasing. I was so impressed that I now have a wishlist to get more colours!

Not On The Highstreet! Wedding purchases!

Hello Loveys!

How have you been?

*I was contacted by notonthehighstreet.co.uk to choose some items that I would like to receive and review. I was so grateful and excited as I am getting married next year in Italy so need to start collecting items to send over, so as soon as I could I hopped over the site and struggled to narrow down my favourites! The site offers so much, from gifts to homeware and even a wedding section! I clicked on the wedding section to find a huge selection of items, everything from tableware to guest books. My Italian wedding will be quite particular which I wont go into detail just yet.
A part of the wedding is outside on a mountain, amongst lemon trees. I really want to have candle light and fairy lights on the trees for the evening so was keen to find something unusual to hang outside.

I chose a Crystal Chandelier Tea Light Holder. A gorgeous sparkly tea light holder to hang outside!

chandelier, review, notonthehighstreet, pretty, candle, wedding, ideas, inspiration, leather, book, guest, crystal, blog

I would have photographed these items myself but unfortunately they were put away in my wedding box in the attic and cant get up to get them!

This chandelier was £24.95, the link is below.

Though this was smaller then what I thought it really is stunning and am excited to use this!

For my next item I decided to chose something that is "sensible" as in an item which is required not desired, so I decided to look at the guest books. They have a huge selection but I decided to go for something simple and leather.

I chose a Classic Leather Guest Book in the shade Ivory, as seen as the top book in the picture below.

As I said above I would have taken a personal photo but had to take this one from the website due to it being packed away at my parents house already.

This guest book is beautiful, it is 22.5x18.5cm so is a good size, it is leather, it looks and feels like good quality. The pages are off white and unlined so perfect for fitting all your guests messages.

This item is £32. See link below for more details.

The delivery was quick and the items were packaged safely, I was really impressed and have already ordered some other items from

Let me know whether you have purchased off this site!

Review: Super Facialist By Una Brennan

Review, Skincare, Una Brennan, Super, Facial, Scrub, Tea, Flower, Polish, Boots, Scent, BlogHello loveys!

Todays post is a review on the Super Facialist By Una Brennan, Tea flower Deep Clean Facial Scrub. I had heard a lot about this product on other blogs and youtube channels. I decided to give it a go when Boots had the 3 for 2 offer, who can resist those offers!

Una brennan has had over 15 years experience and is claimed to be one of the most accomplished facialists and skincare specialists in the UK.

The Una Brennan Tea Flower Deep Clean Facial Scrub states it "thoroughly cleanses and exfoliates skin to reveal a clearer, more even textured complexion".

The scrub contains micro beads with menthol to cool the skin and salicylic acid to "eliminate dead skin cells", with elderflower to help "minimise the appearance of pores".

I used this scrub in the evenings after cleansing my skin. I was surprised at how the scrub had a  "chemical" scent! It put me off quite a bit, but after a few uses I realised it was the mixture of menthol and elderflower and I got used to it and grew to like it.

Review, Skincare, Una Brennan, Super, Facial, Scrub, Tea, Flower, Polish, Boots, Scent, BlogReview, Skincare, Una Brennan, Super, Facial, Scrub, Tea, Flower, Polish, Boots, Scent, Blog The scrub is a white creamy formula with small micro beads that gently exfoliated my skin. The formula was lovely, it felt moisturising and after I rinsed it off my skin felt soft and clean. In the morning I woke to feel refreshed and my skin looked and felt clean with an added glow. I love this scrub, though the scent wasn't great it definitely cleaned my skin and did make the appearance of pores reduce, with gentle micro beads to get rid of dead skin cells. I would highly recommend this and for the price of £7.99 I think it is worth it, I think next time I will invest in the Rose facial scrub.

Have you tried this product or have another scrub that you would recommend?

A xx
