Hi Loveys,
Todays post is a comparison post on two highstreet eyeliners, Bourjois and Rimmel, lets see which one wins my vote.
Bourjois 24hr Ultra Black Liner.
This liner is a good liner, it has an easy to use nib that gives a precise line, it can come out quite thick at times so you need to be light handed if you want a thin line. The packaging is a box standard black but a sleek tube so easy to grip. The colour is black but after a couple of weeks use it began to dry out which I wasn't impressed about. I liked the effect and ease of use but I just wish it would last a lot longer. The liner did not last that long and was smeared on my eyelids within a couple of hours.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Precision Micro Eyeliner.
This liner is from Rimmel, it is an easy to use liner with an ultra thin nib which gives a precise thin line. The packaging is box standard black but a thicker tube then the Bourjois liner so a bit chunky to hold. The colour is black which needs layers to get a super black look which was a little annoying. I adored the nib, and it lasted longer then the Bourjois liner. The liner lasted longer then the Bourjois liner but did smear by the end of the day so would need reapplying.

Below- Bourjous Liner
I would buy Rimmel Scandaleyes again rather then the Bourjois liner, due to the super thin nib and longer lasting ink, I wish both brands would last longer as they aren't exactly on the cheaper side of the hightstreet!
Have you used any of these? Which liner is your favourite?
A xx
Hi Alessia! Thanks for the reviews! I stopped wearing eyeliner simply because the ones that I have never lasts all night and they sure smudge a lot too! I`m still trying to find the one! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's such a hard to thing to come about :( xxx
DeleteI actually preferred the Bourjois one. I found the colour more intense, but I do agree the staying power isn't great. Eyeko are good but they dry out quickly. Cant seem to find a decent liner!

It's such a shame as I find they are quite expensive too! But am sure I will find one some day :) xx
DeleteI haven't tried any of those liners. My favourite is the one from Eyeko so far :)

DeleteI haven't tried these but I'm currently using a liner by Be A Bombshell cosmetics which is amazing! You might want to try it as it's really longlasting as well xxx
ReplyDeleteOoh haven't heard of that brand, need to have a look, thanks Hun xx
DeleteI have been meaning to try the Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeliners for a while now. I may have to give them a go. xx

DeleteI recently became a fan of liners since I discovered the L'Oreal Superliner. I'm hoping to try more out and these two seem amazing, I'll have to give them a go x

Ah haven't tried that one, I didnt realise how many there are! Xxx
DeleteI use the original felt liner every day from bourjois instead of 'ultra' black and it works wonders! I've purchased and re- purchased so many times, for the price, it's great!
ReplyDeleteAh ok, will have to give that a go xx
DeleteI used the maybelline one but it did transfer a bit. Ive switched to liquid now as I couldnt find a felt liner that didnt smudge/transfer. They are great for getting the hang of winged liner though
