Review: Sleeprollers! Worth The Hype?

Sleeprollers pink hair rollers review blogger big volume TOWIE Amy ChildsSleeprollers pink hair rollers review blogger big volume girl flowers
Hello Loveys!

Hope you are all fabulous! I have been loving this weather, gorgeous sun and summer clothes are out!

Today I have a special review! SleepRollers! I was lucky to receive some to review. I was super excited when they arrived as heard so much about them within the world of the celebrity with people such as Amy Childs from TOWIE. I opened the box to discover a bright pink haven! A large SleepRollers pink bag, perfect bag to pack for a weekend away! A smaller fabric pink SleepRollers bag, a pouch of hair grips and two packs of SleepRollers! This is the original SleepRollers pack and is only £24.95. Various packs available.

Here is the link

SleepRollers are stated to make you "sleep in comfort and wake up to hair with body and bounce". I was worried about the comfort as they are quite big!

My SleepRollers Experience.

Before SleepRollers!

The first time I tried these I had a real headache putting them in! They were fiddly and did not seem to stay put, and to make matters worse I also did not sleep at all! It was uncomfortable and I got frustrated. In the morning when I took the SleepRollers out I wasnt hugely pleased as my hair didnt have much volume, nor did I have "great hair". BUT......the second time I tried it.........

The SleepRollers are in!! Not attractive ey!

So after my first failed experience I decided to try these again, I washed my hair, dried it straight and brushed out all my knots. I sectioned each part of hair and put less on each roller. I used the hair grips to help hold up the rollers. My nights sleep was much better, I think they way I placed the SleepRollers helped as I found I could sleep comfortably without a roller hurting the back of my neck. I woke up and was hopeful, I found it easier to undo each roller and brushed my fingers through each section whilst spraying hairspray all over. The result was fabulous! I loved it! My hair had volume and bounce, something that doesnt exist with my hair! The rollers transformed my hair and made me feel like I had celeb hair! I would recommend these to all my friends and family, and my advice is dry your hair straight and dont put too much hair on each roller.

The Result!

So as you can see my hair is bouncy, full of volume and added curl! I love it!
What do you think?
Would you or have you used these?

Hello Loveys!!

I was sent this hand cream to take part in a competition! So grab a tube and take part! Take a photo of your hand cream on your travels, be it a day out or on holiday! Share on twitter @balancemebeauty or facebook www.facebook.com/balancemebeauty. The winner then will win some Balance Me goodies. This is a weekly competition so lots of chances to win!

Balance Me was founded in 2005 by sisters Clare and Rebecca Hopkins. Within a year they were selling throughout the UK and then were joined by Sian Jones. Balance Me have a vision to create "beauty that works naturally". They use natural producst and state the % on each product with no parabens, sulphates, petroleum, mineral oils, silicones, dea, pegs, propylene glycol, artificial fragrances or colours. Wow now thats impressive dont you think?

Balance Me, skincare, natural, hand cream, flowers, oil, pure,
Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream has 98.8% natural origin. It states it is "Multi-award winning and seriously rich, our cream has been formulated to leave even the driest hands smooth and soft to touch".

The hand cream has shea butter, kukui nut oil and rosehip oil. It has a gorgeous scent, fresh and a hint of rose. It is a thick white cream which goes into the skin leaving my hands super soft for a good length of time. I have recently had such dry hands from cleaning the house frantically that I think it has damaged my hands. This cream has bought my hands back to life leaving my hands soft and fragranced throughout the day. I am in love with this cream!

Have you ever tried this?

Review: Twisted Sista Hair Products!

Hello loveys,

How are you all?
Thought I would share my thoughts on these *hair products!

hair, product, review, twistedsista, argan oil, lychee, free from, green tea
Twistedsista is a company from London that has created products for "a diverse mix of hair types". The formulas are sulphate and paraben free, and "packed full of superstar ingredients to cleanse, moisture, calm and control attitude hair". Products are available from Tesco and range from £3.99-4.99.

Twistedsista Hot Curls Perfector.

This spray is is for curly or waved hair. It states is "enhances curls" and protects from hear and uv damage enabling hair to hold the curls and reduces frizz.

This spray is great! I was so pleased! It contains green tea which is an anti oxidant that protects against uv radiation  and argan oil which helps keep hair soft and strong. I used the spray whilst Tom hair was damp before I dried it. The scent had a sweet note that I couldn't put my finger on then when I read the I ingredients in depth I saw it had lychee extract and that's the scent! Lychee helps reduce colour fading and protects the hair against oxygen radical stress. My hair did appear to have reduced frizz and felt softer. My hair can be quite frizzy and this helped reduce this problem which I was pleased with! I would repurchase this product and for only £4.99 150ml it's a bargain!

Twistedsista Straightening Thermal Perfector

This spray is for all hair types. It states it straightens curly or wavy hair, protects against thermal damage, improves smoothness of hair whilst reducing friction for easier combing. It contains, like the Hot Curls Protector, lychee, green tea and argon oil. I sprayed this on my damp hair before drying. This product did help straighten my hair and it held the style all day which really impressed me as I was doubtful it would achieve this. The product is not sticky, but whether it protected my hair against loss I was not so sure as my hair does fall out and continued to do so. Overall I would rate this product and repurchase. £4.99 150ml.

Twistedsista Straightening Blow Dry Cream

This cream is for use with all hair types. It states it prevents frizz, maintains style, repairs hair cuticles, increase hair strength and protects from uv damage. It also states that it moisturises scalp and hair whilst providing emolliency and lubricity. What an impressive list!! As above products is contains lychee, green tea and argan oil so great ingredients for our hair.
I would apply this cream whilst my hair was damp and then would blow dry. It added extra volume to my hair, the texture of the cream is super silly and non sticky. I did worry about it making my roots greasy as I do have hair that is prone to greasy roots! And yes it did make my roots greasy so I used this a couple of inches below my roots which prevented this from happening. I did like the consistency of this product, I would repurchase this as it made my hair so soft and added volume. £4.99 100ml.

Review: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick

Hello Beauty Kings and Queens!

Here is a review on a lipstick that I find is a perfect shade for the summer! The lipstick I am reviewing is the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 415 Pink In The Afternoon!

review revlon lipstick swatch pink makeup

Revlon state this lipstick is "infused with silk and vitamins for smooth, conditioning colour". I would definately agree that this lipstick is smooth and has a great colour that lasts. The lipstick is moisturising and comes in 31 colours! Ranging from red, orange and nudes! It retails at £7.49 on boots.

I dont mind the packaging, it has gold detailing which some find tacky but I dont think it does particularly look that bad, it doesnt look cheap at all.

The thing that puts me off this lipstick is that after a while of wearing it, it creases! So when wearing it I make sure that I am rubbing my lips together, sounds odd I know! But the shade is so perfect for summer that I cant resist wearing it!

This is an outfit that I have worn to work and for a general day out and about. The outfit is one that always works for me, the shoes are high but I manage as am a lover of high heels. The trousers are silk and were from Next, they are easy to wear and feel so comfortable, they are wide at the top but teamed with a skinny vest top from Tesco means it shows my waist so gives a curvy effect.
